Okanagan Military Museum

The Okanagan Military Museum (OMM) is one of six museums operated by the Kelowna Museums Society. Dedicated to the preservation of the military history and heritage of the region, the OMM honours the thousands of Okanagan Valley residents who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Museum has a large collection of military artifacts, ranging from military small arms, uniforms, insignia, badges, and equipment. Through permanent exhibitions, educational programs, temporary exhibits, and public tours, the OMM shares the local military history from the Boer War, through the First and the Second World War, and into today.

For more information on visiting the Museum, school programs, and guided tours, consult the OMM website at www.kelownamuseums.ca/museums/the-okanagan-military-museum or contact the Museum directly at 250-763-9292.

From Vimy to Juno can be accessed by visitors during regular hours of operation.
