Announcing: From Vimy to Juno

The Juno Beach Centre is proud to announce the launch of the From Vimy to Juno Education Campaign.

From Vimy to Juno showcases the experiences of Canadians in both world wars and explores topics of remembrance and commemoration. Anchored around two key battles in Canadian military history – the Battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917 and the D-Day landings at Juno Beach in June 1944 – it encourages audiences to make remembrance an active experience.

The travelling exhibition will tour the country starting on March 31, 2016. Visit the Exhibitions page for more information on upcoming stops and events.

VimytoJuno.ca serves as a web portal for all Canadians to learn more about Canada’s experiences between 1914 and 1945. In addition to information about the travelling exhibition and helpful tips to plan a visit to France, the website will soon provide rich historical resources suitable for everyone (Coming June 2016!) and a database of educators’ resources for students of all ages.

From Vimy to Juno is a project of the Juno Beach Centre Association, with support from the Government of Canada and in partnership with the Vimy Foundation.
